Owner's of Shanker Group Sulav Agarwal released on bail-out and arrested again

The Kathmandu District Court has ordered the release Sulav Agrawal, owner's of Shanker Group on bail of Rs 2.55 million.

Immediately, Nepal police has been arrested him after the release to investigate into a money-laundering charge, informs DSP Hobindra Bogati, the spokesperson of the Metropolitan Police Range in Kathmandu. 

Now, police will hand him over to the Department of Money Laundering Investigation,Nepal. Agarwal was arrested on 7th of April  on the charge of black marketing of the Thermol Gun. The court had extended his remand multiple times. 

 He was accused of trying to sell the thermal guns at a rate three times of real value, he raised the value on the demand of the corona virus fears in Nepal. 

additionally,the investigators had also claimed that he used a diplomatic mission’s vehicle in his various illegal activities.
