A modern disinfection tunnel constructed at Nagdhunga, the main border point of
Kathmandu, has been inaugurated on Friday.
Vehicles have been allowed to enter through the disinfection tunnel since Friday after the inauguration. The tunnel is believed to disinfect vehicles and help prevent corona virus.
Upon entering the tunnel, sanitizer drug is sprayed on the outside of the vehicle, which is also believed to destroy the corona virus.
Sundar Transport Company, which operates
electric buses in Kathmandu, has constructed such a tunnel at its own expense.
The tunnel will be operated by Nagdhunga police.
